Dear Employee:

Each year, through our employee giving campaign, we have had the chance to touch people in our community who need help. But now, you will have the chance to consider the needs of people across the nation and around the world. You will be able to support organizations that are involved in health, human services, social welfare, international relief and the environment.

This year our campaign has been expanded to give you a greater opportunity to support an issue, charity or cause that is important to you. The five major federations that are participating in this year’s employee campaign are, as follows:

America’s Charities
Community Health Charities
Earth Share
Global Impact
United Way

You are welcome to support as many of these federations and their member charities as you wish.

We have a proud tradition of employee participation in our workplace campaign. This generosity has been demonstrated in spite of the many demands on your paychecks. But many issues affecting your life and those of future generations need to be addressed now. Please review the information that will be provided to you during the campaign. Think about how you can make a difference in the life of someone served by the charities participating in the campaign. Please contribute as generously as possible.

Each contribution makes a statement about how our society differs from others around the world. One vote can change an election and a single contribution can make a difference. I hope you will join your colleagues and me to help make this the best employee campaign we have ever conducted.
